8 Wilmington College soccer players named CSC Academic All-District

The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced Tuesday the 2024 Men's & Women's Academic All-District Soccer Teams. 

CSC, formerly CoSIDA or the College Sports Information Directors of America, has been selecting the Academic All-Americans since the 1952 football season. Athletic communications directors award the Academic All-District and select the Academic All-American selections.

Three men's and five women's soccer players at Wilmington College were selected for the prestigious honor of Academic All-District, having met the requirements of an unrounded cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 and either playing in 90 percent of matches or starting in 67 percent of matches.
 
Jackson Beske, Jase Edmonson, Alfie Harris, Gabby Perkins, Jada Pohlen, Cloey Sattler, Emma Storck and Madison VanSuch are the student-athletes who have met the requirements.

Beske is a senior business administration student focusing on marketing from Hamilton, Ohio. Beske played in all 20 matches for the Quakers and has a GPA of 3.55.

Edmonson is a junior health sciences biology major from Springboro, Ohio. Edmonson has a 4.0 GPA and played in all 20 matches, starting one for the Quakers.

Harris is a senior political science and English major from North Molton, England. Harris has a 3.96 GPA and started all 20 matches for the Quakers.

Perkins is a sophomore environmental science biology major from Springfield, Ohio. Perkins has a 4.0 GPA and played in all 19 matches, starting two, for the Quakers.

Pohlen is a senior health sciences biology major from Fairfield, Ohio. Pohlen has a 3.96 GPA and started all 19 matches for the Quakers.

Sattler is a sophomore primary education major from Batavia, Ohio. Sattler started all 19 matches for the Quakers and has a 3.66 GPA.

Storck is a sophomore exercise science major from St. Louis, Mo. Storck played in 14 games, starting all of them in goal for the Quakers, and has a 3.81 GPA.

VanSuch is a sophomore allied health exercise science major from Las Vegas, Nev. VanSuch started all 19 games for the Quakers and has a 3.60 GPA.

Congratulations to these eight Quaker soccer players for their extraordinary accomplishments on the field and in the classroom.
