Three area youth hunters — all grandchildren of John Ingersoll of Hillsboro — were successful during this year’s youth deer gun season.
• Tanner Coffey, 10, checked an 8-point buck.
• Annabelle Roe, 12, took a 7-point buck.
• Karli Coffey, 13, shot a 12-point buck.
All three hunters found success in the Hillsboro area.
The state’s youth gun hunting season was held Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 16-17, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. The regular gun season runs Dec. 2-8.
