OHSBCA announces Top 20 Award winners for 2024-25

The Ohio High School Basketball Coaches Association (OHSBCA) has announced their Top 20 Award winners for 2024-25.

At the end of each season, coaches submit both individual and team statistics for free-throw percentage, two-point field goal percentage and three-point field goal percentage. The Top 20 individuals and teams are recognized in each category. The OHSBCA will provide each honoree and team with a certificate that recognizes this honor.

Area award winners include:

• Boys Individual:
— Elam Faust, Lynchburg-Clay: 16th place in individual three-point field goal percentage (29-for-63 for 46 percent).

• Girls Individual:
—Mya Hamilton, Unioto: eighth place in individual free-throw percentage (74-for-89 for 83.1 percent)
—Milee Smith, Unioto: second place in individual two-point field goal percentage (172-for-251 for 68.5 percent); 15th place in individual three-point field goal percentage (40-for-101 for 39.6 percent)

• Girls Team:
—Unioto, first place in team two-point field goal percentage (393-for-704 for 55.8 percent); fourth place in team free-throw percentage (182-for-255 for 71.4 percent); fourth place in team three-point field goal percentage (163-for-465 for 35.1 percent).
—Waverly, 17th in team free-throw percentage (265-for-393 for 67.4 percent).
