Chillicothe wins FAC boys golf tournament; Cavs, Jackson tie for overall championship

On Tuesday (Sept. 17), the Chillicothe Cavaliers and the Jackson Ironmen were crowned Frontier Athletic Conference co-champions, as Chillicothe won the 18-hole event at Franklin Valley, and JHS tied with the Cavaliers in the overall season standings.  

CHS won the final tournament with a score of 310, followed by Jackson at 318. In third place was McClain (351), and the rest of the standings included Washington (359), Hillsboro (359) and Miami Trace (364).

Individual scores for Hillsboro included: Tate Davis 85, Walker Pence 88, Conner Kelch 92, Logan Barton 94, Jack Cornele 99 and Logan Zurface 112.

McClain scores included: Connor Chandler (81), Carter Nelson (81), Carson Chandler (94), Leland Ewry (95) Jeremy Webb (100) and Alex Perie (100).
