Tigers fall to Fayetteville
The McClain Tigers bowling team lost in the boys event on Saturday, Dec. 13 to the Fayetteville Rockets at 2223-2053.
For McClain, they totaled 1516 regular-game pins and 537 Baker game pins (163, 177, 197).
The Tigers were led by Cullen Beatty with a 377 score (202, 175), followed by Paul Ryan at 364 (181, 183). MHS also saw Shayne Adams with a 308 score (132, 176), and Evan Kinnison had a score of 240 (129, 111). MHS also saw Jayden Manning score a 227 (104, 123).

Lady Tigers earn non-conference win against Fayetteville
McClain’s girls bowling team were the winners in their non-conference game on Saturday (Dec. 13) by defeating the Fayetteville Lady Rockets, 1944-1920 at Highland Lanes.
The Lady Tigers had a top pin total from Natalie Stroud at 373 (225, 148).
The next-highest pin total for MHS was Miya Cook at 336 (181, 155), then it was Autumn Uhrig at 311 (137, 174).
Lillie Hogle totaled a 238 score (121, 117), and teammate Samantha Lancaster had a one-game score of 110. MHS also had a sub score of 101.
McClain’s regular-game total was 1469, and their Baker total was 475 (141, 181, 153).

Indians stay undefeated in FAC action; top rival McClain
The Hillsboro Indians continued their dominant season by gaining another win against Frontier Athletic Conference competition, as they defeated the McClain Tigers 2545-2095 at Highland Lanes.
Hillsboro’s win saw them be led by Camden Lively with a pin total of 472 (248, 224), and next for the Indians was Jay Reno at 410 (221, 189). HHS also had Austin Huff score a 395 (224, 171), and teammate Steven Ruggles had a total of 362 (179, 183). The Indians also had Colas Everetts collect a score of 316 (146, 170).
The Indians had a regular-game score of 1955 and then gained a Baker score of 590 (205, 203, 182).
McClain’s top scorer was Cullen Beatty at 449 (199, 250), followed by Dartanyen Hooley at 355 (185, 170).
Next for the Tigers was Paul Royse at 335 (178, 157), and Shayne Adams had a score of 265 (147, 118). Teammate Evan Kinnison had a one-game score of 134, and the Tigers had a sub score of 124.
MHS in their Baker rounds had a total of 433 (161, 151, 121).

Mustangs bowling tops Ripley
On Thursday, Dec. 18, the Lynchburg-C:ay boys bowling team gained a dominant SHAC win over the Ripley Blue Jays, 2171-1781 at Highland Lanes.
Lynchburg-Clay’s leading scorer was Mason Brault at 416 (176, 240), and then it was Tyler Martin with a score of 346 (132, 214).
The next pin total for the Mustangs was Tristan Puckett at 320 (137, 183), and then it was Noah Aronhalt at 307 (149, 158).
Harley Lewis finished with a one-game score of 169, and teammate AJ Brown had a one-game score of 120.
The Baker total of the Mustangs was 493 (189, 158, 146). For Ripley, their Baker total was 396 (126, 118, 152).
LC’s regular-game score was 1678, and Ripley’s was 1385.
This was the second time this season the Mustangs have defeated the Blue Jays.

Lady Mustangs earn SHAC win against Ripley
For the second time this season, the Lynchburg-Clay Lady Mustangs gained a win over SHAC foe, the Ripley Lady Blue Jays, this time winning on Thursday, Dec. 18 by a score of 2085-1131 at Highland Lanes.
The Lady Mustangs had four of their players score over 300 pins, led by Kylie O’Connor at 373 (181, 192), and then it was Kylee Chaney at 358 (195, 163).
LCHS also had Maddie Brault score a 349 pin total (193, 156), and then it was Abby McGuire with a score of 305 (199, 106), Jamison Miracle had a one-game score of 133.
The Lady Mustangs had a regular-game total of 1666, and a Baker score of 419 (146, 131, 142).
Ripley’s regular-game total was 871, and their Baker score was 260 (91, 91, 78).

Lady Indians keep first place in FAC; defeat rival McClain
Hillsboro’s girls bowling team had another strong effort and winning result in FAC competition Thursday evening, defeating Highland County rival, the McClain Lady Tigers at 2549-1997 at Highland Lanes.
The Lady Indians finished with a regular-game pin total of 2019 and had a Baker total of 530 (195, 157, 178) to gain the conference victory.
Hillsboro’s leader in pin total was Rylie Ison at 439 (224, 215), and Cami Miller was next with a total of 417 (179, 238).
Rylee Moyer finished with a score of 382 (192, 190), and Madison Nichols gained a total of 382 pins (180, 202). HHS also had a one-game score of 247 from Sidney Bayless, and they had a sub score of 152.
McClain was led by Natalie Stroud at 423 (211, 212), and the next McClain total was Samantha Lancaster at 360 (182, 178). Miya Cook had a total of 282 (137, 145), while Autumn Uhrig scored a 276 (142, 134).
The Lady Tigers had a one-game score of 91 from Baylee Hickok and a sub score of 98.
McClain’s regular game total was 1530, and their Baker score was 467 (129, 153, 185).
