Mustangs shutout Clinton-Massie
Playing in front of their home fans on Wednesday, the Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs had a shutout against the visiting Clinton-Massie Falcons by a 6-0 score at LCHS.
The non-conference game saw the Mustangs have two goal each from Elam Faust and Harley Lewis, while Darryn Odum and Quin Wells each had one goal.
LCHS had five assists in the non-conference match as Wyatt Osborn had two, while Linkin Barnett, Tanner Roberts, and Wells each had one assist.
At goal for the Mustangs were Roberts with four saves, and Hayden West finished with three saves.

Lady Mustangs gain 1-goal win in shoutout of CMHS
It took just one goal for the Lynchburg-Clay Lady Mustangs to gain a non-conference win on Wednesday, Sept. 25 on their home field, as they defeated the visiting Clinton-Massie Lady Falcons by a 1-0 score.
The Lady Mustangs in their non-conference win saw Lily Ferguson score the game-winning goal. The goal was unassisted.
At keeper for Lynchburg-Clay was Caitlyn Collins with six saves.

Fairfield falls by 1 goal in loss to Unioto
Playing an important non-conference match on Thursday (Sept. 25) against a strong foe, the Fairfield Lady Lions played close with the visiting Unioto Lady Shermans, but fell just short of a victory, falling by a 1-0 score at FHS.
Fairfield had 17 shots in the match and nine shots on goal.
At keeper for the Lady Lions was Meri Jackson, finishing with six saves in Fairfield’s strong defensive effort.

Fairfield, Westfall finish tied on the scoreboard
There was no winner determined in the non-conference match on Thursday (Sept. 25) at Fairfield High School as both the Fairfield Lions and Westfall Mustangs finished tied with three goals each.
Fairfield’s goals were scored by Vinny Ballard, Logan Burgess, and Quentin McIntosh. Fairfield’s had an assist credited to Silas Newman.
At goal for FHS was Anderson Humphrey with seven saves.

Lady Indians win at WCH
Hillsboro didn’t allow a single goal on Thursday, Sept. 25 as they went to Fayette County and returned home with a FAC win by defeating the Washington Lady Blue Lions 7-0.
Goals for HHS included two by Kobie Miles, and one each from Kamryn Asbury, Piper Wilkin, Arianna Evans, Ella Jordan, and Madison Karnes.
Assists went to Miles (one), Blair Gard (one), Evans (one), and Jordan (one).
Phoebe Holland was a goal for Hillsboro.

McClain, Jackson finish in a tie
The McClain Lady Tigers traveled to Jackson County to take on the Jackson Ironladies to a 1-1 tied score after 80 minutes of action in Frontier Athletic COnference action.

MHS falls to Jackson
On Thursday (Sept. 25) the McClain Tigers lost their FAC road match against the host Jackson Ironmen by a 9-1 score.
McClain’s lone goal was scored by Creed Davis with the assist by Case Robbins. Jackson’s goals were scored by Thatcher Brown (three), Fernando Villebrille (two), Jaxon Carroll (one), Ryan Lefever (one), Grady Massie (one), and Grant Massie (one).
At goal for MHS were Eyan Hill with two saves and Zayne Knisley with four saves. Tanner Jenkins of JHS had two saves.

The Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs went on the road for a tough non-conference game against the Wheelersburg Tigers where the fell by a 6-0 score.
LCHS keeper Tanner Roberts ended the match with 10 saves.
