4 Highland County teams compete in Hillsboro invitational

Hillsboro High School’s track and field program hosted an invitational Friday, April 19, with 13 different high schools — including four from Highland County — represented.
The host Hillsboro Indians won the boys event with 154.35 points, while the girls event was won by McClain with 135 points. The Hillsboro Lady Indians were runners-up with 114 points.
The Fairfield girls team was fourth, and the Whiteoak girls team finished 12th. On the boys side, Whiteoak was sixth overall, and Fairfield was 12th.
