In-Demand Jobs Week is the statewide celebration of the jobs, industries and skills that are in-demand in Ohio. Community leaders statewide are encouraged to partner in planning engaging events and activities that will inspire excitement and awareness among students and job seekers.
The Southern Ohio Council of Governments (SOCOG) will hold its next board meeting Thursday, April 13 at 10 a.m. at Riverside Branch of the Chillicothe & Ross County Public Library, located at 550 Buckeye Street at in Chillicothe.
The Highland County Goat Association hosted the 2023 Highland County Goat Ambassador competition on Saturday, March 25 at the Hillsboro First Presbyterian Church.
On March 19 the Highland Harvesters 4-H club held their final March meeting. At this meeting, members were able to do a demonstration on something they enjoy or something related to a project they are taking this year.
On April 22, Lynchburg Masonic Lodge will open their doors for a fish fry and public open house. The Lodge is located at 131 S. Main Street in Lynchburg, and it will hold this event from 4:30-7 p.m.

A special presentation was held Thursday, March 16 at the Liberty Park Veterans Memorial to donate a brand-new John Deere Z315E Zero-Turn mower to caretakers of the memorial, Rick Tipton and his wife, Sherry.
