Triple-L 4-H Club News

The Triple-L 4-H Club met Sunday, May 16 at the home of adviser Jaime Simmons.
    Twenty members attended the meeting. President Tori Priest led the meeting. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Brenna Simmons. Courtney Hodson led the group in the 4-H pledge. Roll call was observed by each member stating their favorite
pizza topping.
    Wyatt Evans talked about tornado safety and handed out a safety brochure.
    The club then participated in a game of “meet your neighbor,” where each member was identified by their looks.
    Each member brought a snack, and the club purchased pizzas for the pizza party. Awards were given out to the following: Seniors Diana
Barrett and Taylor Delph each received $200 toward college expenses.
    Demonstration winners were: 1st place, Brenna Simons, who received a
one-day Kings Island pass; 2nd place, Makayla Duncan, who received a night at the movies for two; and 3rd place, Kami Magee, who received a $10 gift card. Members who donated items for the community service project were Brenna Simmons, Kami Magee, Kaley Davis, Andrew Davis, Ethan Cornwell, Sydney Cornwell, Makayla Duncan, and Sarah Buddelmeyer.
    The group will not meet again until August, where they will finalize fair preparations.
