Ohio Beef Council to sponsor free community workshops on nutrition and wellness in Kettering

The Ohio Beef Council is proud to sponsor a series of free community workshops in Kettering on Jan. 14 and 15. These workshops will be led by Susie Kundrat, MS, RDN, LDN, a renowned nutrition and wellness expert, and author of Eat Move Groove: Unlock the Simple Steps to Lifelong Nutrition, Fitness & Wellness.
 
Kundrat, a registered dietitian, educator, and clinical professor emerita with the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee College of Public Health, will present four workshops that provide practical, science-based advice for living a healthier and more active life. These engaging sessions are designed to help participants incorporate simple steps to improve their daily nutrition, fitness and overall wellbeing.
 
The workshops are centered around Kundrat’s ground-breaking 2211 plan, which offers actionable strategies for maximizing health span and boosting daily wellbeing. Her book, Eat Move Groove, breaks down complex wellness concepts into easy-to-follow guidelines, encouraging a holistic approach to wellness that is both accessible and sustainable.
 
“We are excited to partner with Susie Kundrat to offer these valuable workshops to the Kettering community,” said Anna Gest, MS, RDN, LD, Manager of Nutrition Education Programs of the Ohio Beef Council. “Her expertise and simple, positive approach to health will inspire attendees to take charge of their well-being and adopt healthy habits for life.”
 
The workshops will be held Jan. 14 and 15 at The Ascension Church Witzman Center in Kettering, Ohio. Participants will leave with practical tools and knowledge they can implement immediately to boost their health and wellness.

• Time: 7-8 p.m. with 6:30 p.m. book signing on the 14 and 12-1:30 p.m. on the 15
