HDH celebrates 'Volunteer Week'

To celebrate ‘Volunteer Week’, HDH proudly held its annual luncheon to recognize the 72 volunteers who contributed 17,782 hours of support services to the hospital in 2009 - which is the equivalent to 8.55 full time employees. HDH volunteers donate many hours and much energy to several areas of the hospital, such as the Gift Shop, Surgery waiting area, Outpatient Specialists, ER, information desk, Cancer Care & Hematology and Nutrition Services. At the luncheon, the volunteers were recognized for their service, with Clara Porter topping the list with over 14,143 accumulative hours. They are an essential part of the HDH team.[[In-content Ad]]
