Women in ministry rummage sale will be held at the Sinking Spring Community Center, 31 Grand Street, Sinking Spring, on Friday, Aug. 29 and Saturday, Aug. 30 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. each day.

As this year’s fair royalty term is coming to an end, I would like to reflect on the experience I have had and thank the many people who have supported me along the way.

SATH (Supplementary Assistance to the Handicapped) will once again sponsor the “Cutie Pie” and “Cutie Pet” contests during the Highland County Fair (Aug. 31-Sept. 5).

New Hope Baptist Church in Hillsboro is celebrating its 171st anniversary with a worship service at 11 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 31.
