The first duty of the federal government is to protect our nation, and that duty cannot be fulfilled without the men and women in the military.

The Democratic Convention may be the defining moment. It would be pretty easy for President Biden to announce his retirement there, especially if he does poorly debating Trump.

Our fallen soldiers made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our freedoms. But their families have made costly sacrifices as well. And while we ache for the parents, spouses and children who have lost members of our military, our hearts also swell with pride and gratitude for those who protected our freedoms. 

The Biden administration has funneled hundreds of millions of dollars to programs that provide housing for illegal aliens – while more than 35,000 veterans remain homeless in the United States.

To me, the results of the Census estimates for the year once again confirm that Americans are voting with their feet against the supposed utopia of dense, urban living promoted by so many urban “planners.”

The new survey released this week by small business network Alignable shows 86% reporting being hurt by high costs with only 6% saying they are thriving and not struggling.

House Republicans who have led a nearly two-year investigation into a $500,000 State Department grant to an organization that promotes humanism and secularism are pressing the agency to conduct more diligent oversight after it admitted that the organization may have misused taxpayer funds.

Make no mistake about it, this new series of regulations has one intent – to force the shutdown of the nation’s coal-fired generation fleet, starving it of much of its fuel source and making it economically impossible to continue to operate these units. Far from some panacea, these actions will ripple through the entire economy.

No one on this earth gets to own a permanent flat plateau on a mountaintop. Unfortunately.

By counting illegal immigrants in the Census, we’re rewarding cities and states that break our immigration laws.

The outlook for nuclear power is bright on the world stage. Global demand for clean nuclear energy is higher than we have ever seen.
