Despite the fact that more than half of mass public shooters over the past 25 years were already under the care of mental health professionals, not a single one was identified as a danger to themselves or others. An entire body of academic research now explores why mental health experts so often fail to predict these attacks.

The little town of Hoagland was a great place to grow up in the 1970s. We had a general store to hang out at and a Tastee Freeze that had fantastic ice cream and sandwiches.

On Dec. 9, 2016, The Washington Post published a story sourced to unnamed senior Obama officials claiming that the CIA had “concluded in a secret assessment that Russia intervened in the 2016 election to help Donald Trump.” That was a lie.  The process by which such assessments are made by the CIA hadn’t taken place, much less concluded anything. The same false information was leaked to The New York Times.

To those – from so-called educators to mainstream media hacks to paid public officials – who have cheered the man's assassination in the last few days, may your sickness soon be healed. It is beyond repulsive, but it is surely not contagious as Charlie Kirk so wisely proved.

Charlie genuinely believed in and loved Jesus Christ. He had a profound faith. We used to argue about Catholicism and Protestantism and who was right about minor doctrinal questions. Because he loved God, he wanted to understand him. 

White House officials expressed confidence in the Secret Service’s abilities to protect President Trump hours before rowdy protesters stood just a few feet away from Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, screaming “Free D.C.! Free Palestine! Trump is the Hitler of our time!” The outburst occurred Tuesday night inside Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab, a swanky D.C. restaurant a block and a half from the White House.
