Rosemary Williamson

Rosemary Williamson, 81, of Peebles passed away Saturday, July 25, 2026 at Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe. 

She was born Dec. 15, 1944 in Pike County to the late Clarence W. and Jessie K. (Sharon) Knisley. 

On Nov. 16, 1960, she married Stanley "Buck" Williamson, who died July 24, 2010.

In addition to her parents and husband, Rosemary was preceded in death by sisters, Violet Loretta Knisley, Jo-Ann (James) Peabody and Betty (John) Sterling.

She is survived by three brothers and one sister, Charles “Eddie” Knisley of Springfield, Rodney Knisley of Peebles and Rick (Nina) Knisley; and Angie (John) Shoemaker of Greenfield.

Rosemary had a close relationship with her many nieces and nephews; all of them will miss her greatly. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Adena Hospice for their support, as well as the nurses at Adena Medical Center who cared for Rosemary in her last hours.

The family would like to add a very special thank you, to her partner in life for nearly 16 years, Larry Minney for all the love and care he gave Rosemary during her illness.

A celebration of Rosemary’s life will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 14 at the Smith-Moore-Ebright Funeral Home, Bainbridge. The family will receive friends from noon until the time of service on Friday, Aug. 14.
