On Sept. 15-18, Claire Winkle attended the Next Gen Animal Systems Conference in Kansas City, Mo. 

On Oct. 5, the Hillsboro Great Oaks FFA Chapter had the opportunity to install our very own fruit orchard.

The Hillsboro Great Oaks FFA Chapter took 12 students to the  contest in Middletown. 

Hillsboro Great Oaks FFA members attended the Highland County Fair to participate in showing, selling, and weighing their rabbits and poultry.

The Hillsboro FFA had one member exhibit in the Alpaca Llama show at the 2026 Highland County Fair.

The Highland County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the return of the organization’s annual Moose on the Loose – Support Local Campaign. 

I grew up in the heart of the city. There was not even any space between the houses. Our front yard was a cement sidewalk, and our backyard was made of flagstones lined with board fencing, but there were many places to explore.
