The Marshall Township Volunteer Fire Department recently took delivery of a new fire truck. The truck was purchased with the assistance of a Firefighters Grant in the amount of $249,850 awarded by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency.

Mount Orab police officer Justin Conley was shot by a man he had arrested on an OVI violation early Sunday morning. Conley is recovering from his wounds. The suspect, George Ruby, was shot and killed by another officer.
