Highland County Sheriff's Report

Dec. 13

A resident of the 11000 block of Highland Hills Drive reported fraud.

A deputy responded to the 1200 block of Taylorsville Road after a report of tools removed from a vehicle. This incident remains under investigation.

Deputies responded to the 7400 block of Pence Road after a report of a domestic disturbance. After investigation, Joshua J. Hall, 39, of Hillsboro was arrested and charged with domestic violence.

A deputy responded to a one-vehicle accident on Fisherman’s Wharf Road. Margaret R. Laswell, of Norwood, was driving a 2016 Mazda southbound, ran off the road. The vehicle came to a stop in the ditch. The vehicle sustained minor damage, no injuries reported. Laswell was cited for having expired license plates.

Dec. 14

A resident of the 10000 block of Paint Creek Road reported receiving threats. After investigation, no threats were made. A Circleville male was trespassed from the property.

Dec. 15 

A deputy responded to the 5000 block of Dawson Road after a report of an attempted breaking and entering. The caller advised three male suspects were seen leaving the area in a white SUV. This incident remains under investigation.
