The McClain Tigers rallied in the top of the seventh inning Monday evening with an 8-6 South Central Ohio League victory against the Clinton-Massie Falcons.

In the semifinals of the Whiteoak Classic, it was the host team who gained a win, as the Wildcats pulled out a 9-8 victory over visiting Rock Hill Saturday at Whiteoak High School.

The ninth annual Fairfield Alumni Basketball Tournament was held Saturday, April 3. There were 49 participants in the event, and there were a number of competitive games throughout the day. Players from the classes of 2008 and 2009 won this year's tournament.
