After a disappointing extra inning one run loss at Westfall over the weekend, the Fairfield Lady Lions returned to Southern Hills League action in a big way by blanking the Ripley Lady Blue Jays 9-0 Tuesday. Hitting with high winds was the name of the game Saturday afternoon at Westfall High School. Both Fairfield and Westfall scored in double digits, but the Mustangs outlasted the Lions 11-10 as the game was called in five innings due to high winds and dust.

The Fairfield Lady Lions dropped their first game of the season Saturday afternoon at Westfall High School to the Westfall Lady Mustangs in a closely contested game taking nine innings to complete. In the end, the Lady Mustangs were too much for the Lady Lions to handle, falling 5-4 in nine innings.
