ODOT Crews Ready to Go In Ice and Snow
The official start of winter is still two months away; however, the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) is already thinking about ice and snow, readying its statewide fleet of snow-clearing equipment and highly-trained crews for the upcoming season. 
Hillsboro Police Department reports for Nov. 24
On Nov. 24, the Hillsboro Police Department received two calls about Pepsi machines being broken into -- one at the Paragon Inn, and the other at the Highland County Water Co. Estimated damage/loss was $310.

     Trailing by as much as 16 points in the first half, the Southern State Lady Patriots came close several times of breaking away with the lead, but in the end the Ohio Christian University Lady Trailblazers were too much with OCU defeating SSCC 91-82 at the Patriot Center, located on the campus of Southern State in Hillsboro.

Five players scoring in double figures wasn’t enough for the Southern State Patriots, as a big start by the Ohio Christian University Trailblazers set the tone for the game, as they defeated the Patriots 100-88 Tuesday evening at the Patriot Center, in Hillsboro.
