A Hillsboro man has been arrested on charges related to the possession and dissemination of child pornography.
 According to the Highland County Sheriff's Office Dana P. Jeter, 52, was arrested Tuesday and charged with one count of illegal use of a minor in nudity oriented material, a felony of the second degree.
 On Tuesday, Jan. 18, detectives and deputies with the HCSO, along with Agents from the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation (BCI&I) executed a search warrant at a Hillsboro residence in response to an ongoing investigation into alleged child pornography possession, according to the sheriff's office. Upon execution of the warrant, items of evidence were seized and taken to the crime lab at BCI&I for further analysis.

Due to the threat of inclement weather, the Jan. 20 presentation by the Brown County Master Gardeners at Southern State Community College has been rescheduled for Jan. 27.
