Ohio's jobless rate at 9.4 percent
Ohio's unemployment rate was 9.4 percent in January, down from the revised 9.5 percent in December, according to data released this morning by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS). Ohio’s nonfarm wage and salary employment increased 31,900 over the month, from the revised 5,034,200 in December to 5,066,100 in January.
Sheriff's office investigates alleged shooting

The Clinton Council Sheriff's Office is investigating an alleged shooting in the area of Bernard Road in New Vienna Friday. 

According to Col. Brian Prickett of the Clinton County Sheriff's Office, "We received a call of a home invasion and the subject reported that he had been shot as a result of a struggle.
