    Since this is the last edition of The Highland County Press for the 2010 calendar year, I thought it would be a good time to turn back the clock and look back at some of the top games I had the opportunity to attend this year. My journey back in time starts on Jan. 1 and ends on Dec. 22, 2010.

    The Hillsboro Lady Indians dropped their fifth straight game to start the season Friday night, falling to defending seven-time South Central Ohio League champion Miami Trace, 59-23.

    The Hillsboro Indians defended their home court Tuesday night and in the process took the early lead in the South Central Ohio League, defeating previously-undefeated Miami Trace, 78-70 at Hillsboro High School.

    For two quarters, the vast improvement of the Hillsboro Lady Indians was on display at Washington Senior High School, Saturday night. HHS trailed by just two points after 16 minutes, but the Washington Lady Blue Lions controlled the second half, defending their home court with a 54-37 South Central Ohio League win.
