The Hillsboro Indians were swept on all five courts Monday at Hillsboro High School, falling to the Miami Trace Panthers in South Central Ohio League play.

Hillsboro has hired Brett Prince to be the new varsity boys basketball coach as the Indians are coming off their most successful season in 20-plus years.

The Hillsboro Indians boys tennis team not only defeated their South Central Ohio League counterpart London on a sunny afternoon at Hillsboro High School, but the Indians won in convincing fashion, playing their best SCOL match to date. The Indians won four courts against their league counterpart, including all three singles matches and one of two doubles matches.

The Hillsboro boys tennis team recently defeated the Clinton-Massie Falcons for a South Central Ohio League victory.

The Hillsboro Lady Indians dropped their second consecutive South Central Ohio League game, Monday night, this time a 12-2 loss to the Clinton-Massie Lady Falcons.

If it was runs you wanted Monday night by the Hillsboro Indians, it was runs you got from the Indians. Though down early in the first two innings, the Tribe scored 16 runs in an eventual rout of the Clinton-Massie Falcons, defeating their South Central Ohio League counterpart, 16-6 at the pony league field at Shaffer Park.
