The fifth annual Mini Business Expo will take place on Thursday, March 15, 5-7 p.m. at Weastec, Inc., 1600 N. High Street, Hillsboro. The expo is a Highland County Chamber of Commerce program designed to showcase businesses from across Highland County, representing a wide variety of goods and services available by area businesses and organizations. Weastec, Inc. and Shoelaces Catering are the event sponsors.

Hillsboro High School art students were very successful in this show, with Erin Chaney receiving Best of Show, for her charcoal self-portrait, and Jonathon Gillman receiving Reserve Best of Show, for his Ceramic wire series.
