Fab Five 4-H Club reports on July 9 meeting

By
Maddy Wiseman, Fab Five 4-H Club

The Fab Five 4-H Club’s most recent meeting was July 9 at the Leesburg Friends Church. Wyatt Morrow called the meeting to order, and then Kalea Baldwin led the Pledge of Allegiance and Archer Cline led the 4-H pledge.

Maddie Caldwell did the secretary's report, and Hunter Davidson gave the treasurers report. Then Maddy Wiseman gave the news report and Spencer Allering gave the health and safety report.

We did recreation, which was led by Davis Mckenzie, and we played infection. Then we talked about how 4-H camp was, and after that we went into the adviser report.

The advisers talked about how if we hadn’t picked up our books yet, we needed to meet them after the meeting, and the books will need to be completed before your interview or skillathon. These were dates to remember: July 11, summer judging and state fair qualifying at 9 a.m. at the Highland County Fairgrounds; and July 15, the 4-H enrollment deadline. If you have any questions, go to the Highland County Extension website.

Then the meeting was adjourned by Allering, and it was seconded by Morrow.

Our next meeting will be Aug. 6 at 7 p.m.
