With the busy and stressful times of harvest, Fairfield FFA members wanted to do something to help thank our local farmers for all they do. Fairfield FFA held their third annual Feed a Farmer event Oct. 8.
FFA members and advisers traveled around the Leesburg area to deliver meals to farmers in the field. This year, they prepared and gave out over 60 meals to farmers in the Highland County area.
This event would not have been possible without the help of our sponsors, Farm Credit Mid-America and Dave Sanders.
