The annual Highland County Shootout (boys varsity basketball) will be held on Saturday, June 26 at Hillsboro High School. The first game is in the Hillsboro High School gym, second game listed will be played in the Hillsboro Middle School gym.

The Southern Hills League announced its 2010 All-SHL baseball and softball teams on Monday. Highland County had 11 players, seven in baseball, four in softball, being recognized with the all-league honor.

The Whiteoak Wildcats have entered the final week of the reagular season on a tear. After clinching the top spot in the Southern Hills League (Division II) they easily defeated non-league foe Georgetown 10-0 in five innings,Tuesday at Whiteoak High School.
