Scioto County Sheriff David Thoroughman reports that his 911 communication center received a call Sunday, June 30 around 9:33 a.m. from a neighbor stating there had been a shooting next door. A second 911 call came in from a female allegedly claiming that she had shot her boyfriend.
It was an eventful first week of high school football, but the games continue this week for the Hillsboro Indians and McClain Tigers, as the two Highland County teams continue their season in Week 2.
