Scioto County Sheriff David Thoroughman stated that on Wednesday, March 19 at approximately 3:14 a.m. the 911 Communication Center received a call from Southern Ohio Medical Center stating that they had two victims show up at the hospital with stab wounds.

A female caller advised that a male had allegedly broken out windows to the house, fired shots from a gun and made claims to shoot deputies.

Scioto County Prosecutor Shane Tieman announced Monday that two Scioto County residents were each given 11-16.5-year prison sentences following a two-day jury trial in the Scioto County Court of Common Pleas concluding on March 7.
