Maci Berger won both the District and State competition in the Peace Essay Contest. She was recognized as the District winner at the District Lions Convention in Blue Ash last month. She was then recognized as the State winner at the State Convention on May 16.

All the clubs in the school do community service activities. This year, Fairfield FFA created birthday boxes to donate to local homeless shelters. 

The Mowrystown Lions Club will host a grill out from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7 with the theme of "grilling out to help those in need."
