During National Family Caregivers Month in November, the Alzheimer’s Association is encouraging dementia caregivers to make their own health an equal priority as they navigate the demands and stresses of caring for someone else.

The time will change in Ohio on Nov. 3, falling back one hour. This signifies the shortening of light every day, which can present confusion and behavior challenges for those who are living with Alzheimer’s and other dementia, as well as their families and caregivers.

The Kick-Off for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s - Adams, Brown, Clinton and Highland Counties will be Thursday, Aug. 29 from 10 a.m.-noon at the Highland County YMCA.
