    Representative Brad Wenstrup, D.P.M. (R-OH) and Representative Raul Ruiz, M.D. (D-CA), together with Reps. Mariannette Miller-Meeks (R-IA), Lucy McBath (D-GA), Lori Chavez-DeRemer (R-OR), and Earl Blumenauer (D-OR), reintroduced the Safe Step Act, a bipartisan bill to make sure patients are able to safely and efficiently access the best treatment available to them by improving step therapy protocols.

    Representatives Brad Wenstrup (R-OH) and Lauren Underwood (D-IL), along with Senators Susan Collins (R-ME) and Dick Durbin (D-IL), this week reintroduced bipartisan, bicameral legislation to prohibit smoking at U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) health facilities. The legislation would repeal an antiquated 1992 law that requires the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) to furnish and maintain designated indoor or outdoor smoking areas, including at VA hospitals and clinics.
