The 2024 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft began Sunday, and Day Two saw a record four University of California, Irvine Anteaters taken in the first 10 rounds in Caden Kendle, Woody Hadeen, Myles Smith and Dub Gleed. Nick Pinto rounded out the group of five Anteaters with his selection on Day Three.
Five University of Arkansas Razorbacks, including infielder Peyton Stovall, left-handed pitcher Mason Molina, infielder Jared Sprague-Lott, catcher Hudson White and infielder Ben McLaughlin, were selected during the second day of the 2024 MLB Draft.
Northeastern University centerfielder Mike Sirota and right-handed pitcher Dennis Colleran both had their names called on day two of the 2024 Major League Baseball Draft, with Sirota going to the Cincinnati Reds in the third round, and Colleran going to the Kansas City Royals in the seventh round on Monday afternoon.

Major League Baseball Tuesday completed the 2023 Draft presented by Nike with a total of 614 players being chosen in the 20 rounds, one Prospect Promotion Incentive Selection round, two Compensation rounds and two Competitive Balance rounds. The Draft resumed in the 11th round via MLB.com this afternoon after Monday’s completion of rounds three through 10.
