The Summer 2023 4-H Awards Ceremony was held July 20 in the auditorium of Southern State Community College. 

Congratulations to all those who competed. 

For Special Interest projects, results are as follows: 

• Cake Decorating Beginner: Baylee McClain, Highland's Best, first place and state fair representative - Senior Age Beginner Skill; Kiley Claypool, Belfast Kids Unlimited, state fair representative - Jr. Age Beginner Skill; Alexis West, Marshall Jr. Farmers, second place - Senior Age Beginner Skill.

• Cake Decorating - Intermediate: Arayla Montgomery, Fur  Feathers and Friends, first place and state fair representative - Junior Age Intermediate Skill
