Ray signs with SSCC

Sara Ray (center), a graduate of Hillsboro High School, signed a letter to play softball for the Southern State Community College Patriots.

The daughter of Valarie and Mark Ray (seated), Sara will be a freshman at Southern State this fall.

During her tenure at HHS, Sara played four years of softball, including three years as a varsity letterman, volleyball and soccer.

She earned Second Team SCOL for softball in 2011, as well as the softball most valuable player 2010 Coach’s Award.
