Lady Indians gain victory over West Union

The Hillsboro Lady Indians golf team gained a non-league win over the West Union Lady Dragons at the Hillsboro Elks on Friday, Aug. 31.
 
Hillsboro was led by medalist Arden Knauff with a low score of 46 for the nine-hole event. She was followed by Halee Allen and Haleigh Lovett as each golfer scored a 51. Mallory Mullenix totaled a 56, and Hanna Breeden finished with a 60.

For West Union, their scores were: Marcy Schneider (49), Emily McCarty (53), Haylee Pell (57), Rebecca Mefford (59) and Nancy Campbell  (61).
 
HHS is off this week due to the Highland County Fair.
