Wildcats soccer scores 11 goals in victory

Having three players with hat tricks, the Whiteoak Wildcats soccer team earned a coveted road victory on Monday (Sept. 15) by defeating the Western Latham Indians by an 11-2 score. 

The three hat tricks (three goals in a game) for the Wildcats were made by junior Abe Flader, freshman Lucas Pollard, and sophomore Christopher Wessner. 

Scoring one goal each were senior Shane Mitchell-Cox and sophomore Rowan Roades. 

Whiteoak also totaled seven assists with three by senior Cody Richards, two by Pollard, and two from Wessner. 

At goal for the Wildcats was freshman Evan Richmond with seven saves. 

Whiteoak now stands at 2-6-0 overall and they are 0-4-0 in the SHAC. 

Next for the Wildcats is a game on Wednesday, Sept. 17 at West Union.
