Lynchburg-Clay wins SHAC boys and girls bowling championships

The Lynchburg-Clay bowling teams won the SHAC Tournament. Earlier in February, the Lynchburg-Clay boys and girls bowling teams were crowned champions of the Southern Hills Athletic Conference.
The SHAC girls champion was Lynchburg-Clay with a total of 3,083 pins, and in second place was Fayetteville at 2,807 pins. The third-place team was Whiteoak (2,700), followed by Eastern (2,691), Fairfield (2,631) and Ripley 1,742.
Individual results in the girls championship included Lynchburg-Clay’s Kylee Chaney with a three-game total of 573.
In third was Lynchburg-Clay’s Madison Baker at 488. Other LCHS scores included Kylie O’Conner (418), Maddie Brault (382), Lizzie Shreve (235- 2 games) and Morgan Baker (104 - 1 game).
The Fairfield girls had McKinley Cox place fifth overall with a score of 481. Also for the Lady Lions, scores included: Cheyenne Tyler (423), Zoey Carver (300), Jayden Howard (293), Maddy Wiseman (235 - 2 games) and Caitlyn Feeser (93 - 1 game).
Whiteoak’s top placer in the girls event was Matti Conrad in sixth place at 434.
WHS girls scores also included: Shawna Brown (381), Madison Davidson (375), Trulie Lamb (333) and Olivia Michaels (326).
In the boys event, the Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs won the SHAC bowling championship with 3,176 pins, and in second was Eastern at 2,925 pins.
Next was Whiteoak (2,890), and they were followed by Fayetteville (2,827), Ripley (2,493) and Fairfield (2,375).
For the LCHS boys, winning the event was Cameron Schultz at 531.
Lynchburg-Clay also had the fourth-, fifth- and sixth-place finishers. In fourth was Caden Faust at 491, in fifth was Damien Fry (467), and the sixth-place finisher was Noah Bitzer at 459, plus Frank Bullins scored a 359.
Whiteoak’s top placer was Nicholai Wing in third place at 500. Also for WHS, Connor Wiscaver scored a 453 for seventh place.
WHS scores also included: Cody Richards (408), Macaulay Wing (350) and Shawn Mitchell-Cox (347).
For the Fairfield Lions, Liam Hughes had their top score at 400. Other scores for the Lions were: Titan Crowder (384), Raymond Gleadle (371), Kobi Reid (227 - 2 games), Ethan Bartley (292 - 2 games) and Joshua White (179 - 2 games).
