Errors send Indians to loss against Worthington Kilbourne

The Hillsboro Indians had nine hits and four runs Friday, but committed seven errors, which cost the Indians a win as they lost to Worthington Kilbourne, 6-4 in their non-conference game.
The Indians scored two runs in the top of the first, and each team scored a run in the second for a 3-1 Indians lead after two complete innings. In the bottom of the third, Worthington Kilbourne put three runs on the board, as they took a 4-3 lead over the Indians.
WKHS added two runs in the bottom of the fourth, while HHS scored a final run in the top of the seventh to complete the scoring for the game.
In all, WKHS finished with six hits and committed two errors.
Hillsboro had three players who finished with two hits each, as Korbin Adams went 2-for-3 with one run, one RBI, and a walk. Braydon Hunter finished 2-for-4 with two runs with one of his hits being a double. Also for HHS, Ovid Wilson went 2-for-4 with an RBI, as one of his hits was a triple.
Bryce Parsons finished 1-for-4 with an RBI, Jackson Cornele went 1-for-4 and Travis Ross was 1-for-3 with a run and a steal.
The loss was charged to Zach Burwinkel, who pitched four innings, allowing six unearned runs on five hits and four walks. He finished with four strikeouts, facing 26 batters, throwing 89 pitches with 56 for strikes.
Nic Burns pitched one inning, allowing one hit and he had two strikeouts. Brogan Priest finished with two innings pitched, allowing a walk and having a strikeout.
The loss moved the Indians to 0-5 overall.
