McClain Tiger Sharks finish 1st at SE District Sectional swim meet; HHS and MHS have district qualifiers
The McClain and Hillsboro swim teams traveled to Athens on Saturday (Feb. 8) for the Southeast District Sectional swim meet were the McClain boys swim team won the event.
The McClain boys finished first place out of 18 teams, and the McClain girls finished fifth place out of 20 teams. This is also the first time since 2008 the McClain boys have won this meet, and only the second time in school history.
The Hillsboro boys finished sixth place out of 18 teams, while the Hillsboro girls finished 12th place out of 20 teams.
Multiple boys and girls from both Highland county teams qualified for the SE, E, and C District meet this Friday at Athens.
