Lady Mustangs score 10 goals in win over Peebles

The Lynchburg-Clay Lady Mustangs scored 10 goals in their win on Wednesday afternoon against the visiting Peebles Lady Indians, winning by a 10-0 score.

LCHS had a hat trick from Caitlyn Collins, two goals from Aubrey Slack, two goals from Miranda Smith and one goal each from Addie Cordrey, Lizzie Hall and Caraline West.

Assists were credited to Addie Downing with two, while having one assist each were Slack, Smith and West.

At goal for LCHS, Allie Waits had one save.

Mustangs shut out Peebles

Wednesday night was a a solid win for the Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs as they defeated the visiting Peebles Indians by a 6-0 score, securing a Southern Hills Athletic Conference win.

Six different players scored a goal for Lynchburg-Clay, and those players were Austin Bell, Cody Bell, Noah Bitzer, Alexander VanFleet, Quinn Wells and Braedon West.

LCHS also collected four assists, with two from Mason Fisher and one each by Austin Bell and VanFleet.

Isaac Eyre had three saves in the win for LCHS.

Lions lose to CNE

The Fairfield Lions struggled to score goals in their non-conference game on Wednesday night, falling to Clermont Northeastern Rockets by a 4-1 score.

In the non-conference loss, the lone goal for FHS was scored by Zane Matthews, as his goal was unassisted.

At goal for FHS, Carson Jenkins totaled two saves, and Mason Lightle had one save.

Lady Lions fall to Clermont Northeastern

The Fairfield Lady Lions on Wednesday lost to the visiting Clermont Northeastern Lady Rockets by a 1-0 score at FHS.

FHS had nine saves by Claire Newkirk and one save from Whitlee Morrow.

Lady Tigers earn 4-goal win over Washington

Traveling to Fayette County on Wednesday the McClain Lady Tigers returned home with a Frontier Athletic Conference victory, winning by a 4-0 score.

Goals scored by McClain saw Larah Henson score a goal, Paisley Pryor score a goal, and Lindsey Hutchinson added two goals in the FAC victory.

MHS with the win is now 4-1-1 in the FAC and 8-1-1 overall.

Lady Mustangs win by a goal over Clinton-Massie

Playing a closely contested game in non-conference action on Thursday, the Lynchburg-Clay Lady Mustangs were victorious on the road by defeating the host Clinton-Massie Lady Falcons by a 2-1 score.

Goals for LCHS were scored by Addie Cordrey and Aubrey Slack, with an assist credited to Miranda Smith.

Allie Waits had one save in the win, and also at goal for LCHS was Caitlyn Collins.

The win improves Lynchburg-Clay to 6-2-1 overall, and they are 4-0-1 in the SHAC.

Lady Lions earn non-conference win over Alexander

A non-conference home match on Saturday saw the Fairfield Lady Lions defend their home field by defeating the visiting Alexander Lady Spartans by a 2-1 score.

Both goals for Fairfield were scored by Vivian Henninger, with Meri Jackson having one assist.

At goal for FHS were Jackson with two saves and Claire Newkirk with seven saves.

The Lady Lions are now 7-2-0 overall, and in the SHAC they are 3-0-0.

Mustangs lose on road to South Webster

The Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs lost in an away game on Saturday, falling to the South Webster Jeeps by a 3-0 score.

For LCHS, Isaac Eyre totaled nine saves.

The Mustangs currently stand at 6-3-1 overall and 5-0-1 in the SHAC.

Indians fall to ’Cane

Hosting the Wilmington Hurricane on Saturday, the Hillsboro Indians lost the non-conference game by a 2-1 score at HHS.

Scoring the lone goal for Hillsboro was Tate Davis with the assist from Ryan Howland.

The Indians took a total of 17 shots. At goal for HHS wad Ryan Fender with five saves.

HHS is currently 7-3-0 overall, and in the FAC they have a record of 3-2-0.

Hillsboro defeats Wilmington

It was a big win on Saturday morning for the Hillsboro Lady Indians, as they defeated the visiting Lady Hurricane of Wilmington by a 7-1 score.

In the non-conference win, HHS had four goals from Kobie Miles, two goals scored by Ella Jordan and a goal by Arianna Evans.

HHS improves to 5-6-0 overall and 2-4-0 in the FAC.
