Mustangs bowling defeats McClain

The Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs boys bowling team defeated the McClain Tigers on Thursday night, winning with a team score of 2,536, while McClain totaled 2,208.

For the Mustangs, Noah Bitzer totaled 430 pins, while next was teammate Caden Faust with a score of 398. Frank Bullins totaled 388 pins for LCHS, followed by Damien Fry at 365 and Cameron Schultz at 362 for a regular-game team total of 1,943.

In the Baker games, Lynchburg-Clay had scores of 169, 225 and 201 for a team total of 595. The regular game and Baker game totals gave LCHS the win at 2,538 pins.

For McClain, individual scores included: Dawson McMurry 307, Shayne Adams 315, Dart Stovall 348, Carson Coonrod 234 and Cullen Beatty 474.

Lions fall to Ripley

The Ripley Blue Jays defeated the Fairfield Lions on Thursday by a score of 1,500 to 1,277.

For Fairfield, individual regular game scores included: Liam Hughes 267, Titan Crowder 233, Kobi Reid 180, Joshua White 166, Raymond Gleadle 100 and Ethan Bartley 82. Fairfield’s regular-game total was 1,028.

LCHS girls gain win over McClain

The Lynchburg-Clay Lady Mustangs gained a non-conference win over the McClain Lady Tigers by a score of 1,923 to 1,894 on Thursday.

Lynchburg-Clay was led by Kylee Chaney with a regular-game total of 406, followed by Madison Baker totaling a score of 299 pins. Next was Maddie Brault at 280, followed by Morgan Baker at 270 and Kylie O’Connor at 258.

LCHS Baker team scores were: 132, 144 and 134 for a 410 score. The regular game score of 1,513, added with the Baker score of 410, gave LCHS the win with 1923 pins.

Individual scores for McClain included: Miya Cook 357, Natalie Stroud 325, Ashley Mitchell 282, Sarah Easter 247 and Bailey Mitchell 217.

Fairfield Lady Lions win SHAC game against Ripley

Facing a Southern Hills Athletic Conference opponent on Thursday, the Fairfield Lady Lions defeated the Ripley Blue Jays, 1,396 to 772.

For Fairfield, Zoey Carver and Jayden Howard each totaled 224 pins, while the rest of the FHS scores in regular games included Madelyn Wiseman 182, Cheyenne Byler 169, Mckinley Cox 137 and Caitlyn Feeser 70.

McClain Lady Tigers win at Jackson

Facing a Frontier Athletic Conference rival on Saturday, the McClain Lady Tigers defeated the host Jackson Ironladies, 2,000 to 1,631.

McClain’s individual scores included: Natalie Stroud 370, Miya Cook 360, Ashley Mitchell 319, Sarah Easter 288 and Bailey Mitchell 254.

Tigers lost to Jackson

Traveling to Jackson on Saturday, the McClain Tigers lost to the Jackson Ironmen by a score of 2,482 to 1,834.

Individual scores for the Tigers were: Cullen Beatty 334, Dart Stovall 302, Dawson McMurry 297, Carson Coonrod 290 and Shayne Adams 256.

Whiteoak Lady ’Cats earn SHAC win over Fairfield

The Whiteoak Lady Wildcats defeated the Fairfield Lady Lions on Monday by a score of 2,045 to 1,488 in SHAC action.

Regular game scores for Fairfield included: Mckinley Cox 374, Jayden Howard 271, Zoey Carver 234, Eloise Roehm 91, Caitlyn Feeser 77, Madelyn Wiseman 75 and Ellie Humphrey 67.

Lady Mustangs gain victory over Fayetteville in SHAC match

Lynchburg-Clay added a SHAC win to their résumé on Monday evening, defeating the Fayetteville Lady Rockets, 2,046 to 1,511.

LCHS was led by Kylee Chaney at 426 pins, and next was Maddie Brault at 316. The Lady Mustangs also had the following individual scores: Kylie O’Connor 301, Morgan Baker 290 and Madison Baker 281.

LCHS totaled 1614 pins in the regular games, and in the Baker games they totaled 432 with scores of 154, 134 and 144. The two team totals combined gave LCHS a final total of 2,046.

Whiteoak wins against SHAC counterpart Fairfield

The Whiteoak Wildcats won in Southern Hills Athletic Conference play on Monday by defeating the Fairfield Lions, 2,030 to 1,665.

Fairfield scores included Raymond Gleadle at 384, while teammate Liam Hughes totaled 274. Fairfield also had the following individual score totals: Joshua White 226, Kobi Reid 178, Ethan Bartley 98 and Titan Crowder 95, for a regular-game total of 1,255.

LCHS takes down Rockets

Lynchburg-Clay boys bowling defeated the Fayetteville Rockets on Monday night by a score of 2,253 to 1,929 for the SHAC victory.

The Mustangs were led in the regular games by Damien Fry with a score of 389, followed by Cameron Schultz at 366, Next for LCHS were Noah Bitzer at 351, Caden Faust at 322 and Frank Bullins at 316 for a team regular-game total of 1,744.

In Baker games, LCHS had totals of 166, 173 and 170 for a Baker total of 509. Combined, the Mustangs had a score of  2,253 for the winning total.

Lady Tigers win against Washington

The McClain Lady Tigers bowling team were the winners on Monday by defeating their FAC rival, the Washington Lady Blue Lions, 2,051 to 1,932.

MHS was led by Natalie Stroud at 367, while next was Miya Cook with a score of 320. Ashley Mitchell finished at 286, and she was followed in the scoring column by Bailey Mitchell 284 and Sarah Easter 282.

Blue Lions top Tigers

The McClain Tigers lost on Monday evening to the Washington Blue Lions at 2,335 to 2,087 in a FAC match.

The Tigers had the following individual scores: Cullen Beatty 427, Dawson McMurry 311, Carson Coonrod 291, Shayne Adams 286 and Dart Stovall 238.

Hillsboro wins versus Miami Trace

Gaining a FAC win on Monday, the Hillsboro Lady Indians defeated the Miami Trace Lady Panthers 2,257 to 1,915.

Scores for the Lady Indians were: Cami Miller 412, Madison Nichols 360, Rylie Ison 347, Rylee Moyer 315 and Sidney Bayless 314.

Indians earns FAC win over Panthers

The Hillsboro Indians boys bowling team won a FAC contest on Monday against the Miami Trace Panthers, 2,831 to 2,622.

The Indians were led by Aidan Lemaster with a total of 533, followed by Camden Lively 460, Brayden Hall 441, Andrew Tomko 417 and Zach Burwinkel 357.
