Bowling Report: Hillsboro bowling teams each improve to 11-0; Lynchburg-Clay, Whiteoak, McClain earn wins

Whiteoak defeats Ripley
 

It was a SHAC winning day for the Whiteoak Wildcats with them defeating the Ripley Blue Jays, 2293-1658 at Town & Country Lanes.

For Whiteoak, they saw the leading scorer be Connor Wiscarver at 458 (235, 223), and Nicholai Wing have a score of 429 (205, 224). Gabe Ulrey finished at 383 (198, 185), and Macaulay Wing totaled a 325 score (184, 141). Shawn Mitchell-Cox finished the match at 302 (118, 184).

Lady ’Cats defeat Ripley 

The Whiteoak Lady Wildcats defeated the Ripley Lady Blue Jays in SHAC play at 2068-1228. The win at Highland Lanes saw Madison Davidson lead the Lady ’Cats at 402 (214, 188), and next was a 381 score by Matalynn Conrad (219, 162). 

Olivia Michaels scored a 364 (178, 186), and the next score was Trulie Lamb at 298 (147, 151). Sierra Kipp had a game one score of 112, and Ivy Garrison had a game two score of 58. 

Baker scores were 172, 163 and 118 for a total of 453.

Lynchburg-Clay defeats Fayetteville

In Southern Hills Athletic Conference action, the Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs defeated Fayetteville 2311-2108 at Highland Lanes. 

LCHS had a high score of 492 from Tyler Martin at 203 and 289. Noah Aronhalt totaled a score of 368 at 178 and 190 games.

The Mustangs also had a 355 score by Tristan Puckett at 156 and 199. Mason Brault finished with a score of 350 (170, 180), and AJ Brown had a two-game score of 349 (170, 179). 

LC’s Baker score was 390 (161, 129, 100).

Lady Mustangs win against Fayetteville 

The Lynchburg-Clay girls bowling team won in SHAC action against the Fayetteville Lady Rockets, 1948-1775 at Highland Lanes. 

LCHS had a high score of 367 from Kylee Chaney at 367 (196 and 171). Abby McGuire totaled a 309 score (152, 157), and Kylie O’Connor totaled a 307 (134, 173). 

Maddie Brault scored a 291 (146, 145), and in game one Lizzie Shreve scored a 119. In game two, Jamison Miracle scored a 113. Baker scores for LCHS were 149, 164 and 129 for a total of 442.

Indians keep undefeated record intact 

The Hillsboro boys bowling teams continued to stay undefeated in regular-season play on Wednesday, Jan. 7 by gaining a win against Frontier Athletic Conference for the Jackson Ironmen, 2640-2222 at LeElla Wellston. 

Hillsboro gained the win with a Baker total of 617 with games of 214, 190 and 213, plus a regular-game total of 2013.

The Indians’ leading scorer was Camden Lively at 471, with game pin totals of 246 and 225. Jay Reno finished at 451 with a game one pin total of 234 and game two total of 217. 

Steven Rodgers finished at 390 (204, 186), followed by Quentin Gall at 373 (199, 174), and Austin Huff had a total of 179 in game one. HHS also had a sub score of 159. 

HHS now stands at 11-0 overall and 7-0 in the FAC standings.

Lady Indians stay undefeated at 11-0 

Wednesday saw the Hillsboro Lady Indians earn another victory in the Frontier Athletic Conference by defeating conference rival Jackson at 2133-1979. 

In the FAC match, the Lady Indians had a leading scorer of Sidney Bayless at 372 with scores of 194 and 178 at the LeElla Wellston bowling lanes. 

HHS also had a 345 score from Riley Clemons by game scores of 179 and 166. Rylie Ison totaled a 212 score in game one. 

Cami Miller bowled a score of 185 in game two. HHS had a 118 score in game one by Carey Skeens. The Lady Indians also had sub scores of 179 (game two) and 118 in game one. 

Hillsboro’s Baker scores were 457 (167, 165, 125). 

The win improves HHS to a 7-0 record in the FAC with an 11-0 overall record.

Lady Mustangs gain SHAC win over Eastern

The Lynchburg-Clay Lady Mustangs won in Georgetown against the Eastern Warriors at 2101-1849 in SHAC action. 

LCHS was led by Kylie O’Connor at 375 (161, 214), and the next-highest score was a 341 by Kylee Chaney (164, 177). Maddie Brault scored a 314 (133, 181), and Abby McGuire totaled a 295 score (147, 148). 

Lizzie Shreve scored a 268 (137, 131). The Baker scores for LCHS were 180, 139 and 189 for a total of 508.

Tigers fall to FAC rival Miami Trace  

The McClain Tigers traveled to Fayette County for a Frontier Athletic Conference contest where they fell to the host Miami Trace Panthers, 2433-2218 at LeElla Lanes. 

MHS was led by Dartanyen Hooley at 426 with game scores of 246 and 180. The Tigers also had a 306 score from Jayden Manning with game scores of 168 and 138. Paul Royse totaled 139 and 158 for a 297 total score. 

The Tigers saw Evan Kinnson total a 256 score at 126 and 130. MHS had a sub score of 201 and 174 for 375. McClain’s Baker score was 598 (233, 151, 174).

McClain falls to FAC foe Miami Trace

In their FAC match on Thursday, the McClain Lady Tigers lost to the Miami Trace Lady Panthers 2141-2095 at LeElla Lanes. 

The road loss for MHS saw them be led by Samantha Lancaster at 352 (180, 172), and next was Miya Cook at 330 (137, 193). 

MHS also had a score of 288 from Autumn Uhrig at 156 and 132. Natalie Stroud finished with a game one score of 246, while Baylee Hickok had a game one score of 125. McClain’s sub scores were 113 (game one) and 171 (game two). 

Baker game scores for MHS were 176, 131 and 163 for a total of 470.

Whiteoak tops Fairfield 

SHAC rivals Whiteoak and Fairfield battled at Highland Lanes on Thursday evening, where it was WHS winning 1885-1302. 

Whiteoak was led in pin totals by Matalynn Conrad at 306 (159, 147) and Trulie Lamb also at 306 (163, 143). 

Madison Davidson scored a 304 (155, 149), and Olivia Michaels scored a 291 (155, 136). In game two, Sierra Kipp scored a 121, and in game one Ivy Graham had a 71 score. Baker totals for WHS were 149, 147 and 190 for a total of 486. 

Fairfield was led by Kenzi Ramadan at 277 (138, 139), and then it was Lilly Hilterbran at 212 (99, 113). Layla Howard scored a 204 (122, 82), and Zoey Carver finished at 168 (89, 79).

McKenna Self in game two had a 100 score, and in game one it was Eloise Roehm scoring a 73.

LCHS falls to conference foe Eastern

In Georgetown on Thursday, the Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs fell to the Eastern Warriors at 2250-2108 in Southern Hills Athletic Conference play.

Lynchburg-C:ay’s leading scorer was Noah Aronhalt at 362 (163, 199), while Mason Brault totaled a score of 349 (200, 149). 

Koen Collins had a score of 300 (138, 162) in two games, while Tyler Partin finished with a two-game score of 300 as well at 153 and 147. 

Tristin Puckett had scores of 145 and 159 for a 304 total. 

Baker scores for LCHS were 173, 174 and 146 for a 493 total. 

LCHS now stands at 5-3 overall, and they are 5-1 in the SHAC.

Whiteoak defeats Fairfield for SHAC win 

The Thursday evening match in SHAC play saw the Whiteoak Wildcats defeat Fairfield 2471-2058. 

Whiteoak’s leader was Shawn Mitchell-Cox at 422 (185, 237), followed by Connor Wiscarver at 401 (233, 168). 

Nicholai Wing had a score of 399 (233, 166), and Macaulay Wing finished at 344 (194, 150). Gabe Ulrey totaled a score of 330 (136, 194) for WHS. 

Fairfield had scores from many players with not all the scores counting toward their final varsity scoring. 

Joshua White led at 363 (193, 170), and next was Noah Eldridge at 356 (186, 170). Raymond Gleadle ended the match at 330 (166, 164), and Ethan Bartley finished at 321 (191, 130). 

Kobi Reid had a score of 310 (127, 183), and Logan Hix had a 245 score (142, 103). Titan Crowder finished with a 202 score (108, 94), while Jayden Frost scored a 189 (86, 103). Morgan Hughes had a game one score of 131, and teammate Hayden Ault scored a 125 (70, 55). Liam Hughes in game two scored a 125.

Tigers defeated by Whiteoak 

The McClain Tigers fell in a non-conference game against the Whiteoak Wildcats 2430-2157 at Highland Lanes. 

McClain’s leader was Cullen Beatty at 430 (226, 204), and next was Dartanyen Hooley at 357 (191, 166). 

MHS also had a 319 score from Paul Royse with games of 170 and 149. McClain’s Shayne Adams had a 293 score of 150 and 143. Evan Kinnson had a game two score of 157, while Jayden Manning had a game one score of 119 for the Tigers. 

McClain’s Baker score was 482 (140, 163, 179). 

The Wildcats were led by Gabe Ulrey at 405 (214, 191), and next was Connor Wiscarver at 384 (184, 200). Nicholai Wing scored a 376 (172, 204), and Macaulay Wing had a 373 score (177, 196). Shawn Mitchell-Cox scored a 338 (163, 175). 

WHS moves to 8-1 overall, and they are 4-1 in the SHAC. MHS stands at 0-10 overall and 0-7 in the FAC.

McClain earns win over Whiteoak 

In a non-conference contest at Highland Lanes on Saturday, the McCLain Lady Tigers defeated the Whiteoak Lady Wildcats 1976-1950. 

McClain had a tie for top scorers, as Miya Cook (180, 181) and Natalie Stroud (175, 186) both had scores of 361. 

Autumn Uhrig totaled a 289 (148, 141), and she was followed by Samantha Lancaster at 285 (151, 134). Baylee Hicks totaled a 218 (115, 103). 

The Baker score for McClain was 462 (142, 140, 180). 

MHS is now 5-5 overall and 2-5 in the FAC.
