2025 Highland County boys basketball tournament pairings announced

The Southeast District of the OHSAA released the 2025 sectional/district brackets for boys basketball teams Sunday afternoon.

Below are Highland County teams’ first-round tournament pairings:

Division IV

• 9. Vinton County (9-9) at 8. Hillsboro (8-9), Thursday, Feb. 20 at 7 p.m. at Hillsboro High School.

• 11. McClain (8-10) at 6. Fairfield Union (10-8), Thursday, Feb. 20 at 7 p.m. at Fairfield Union High School.

Division VI

• 12. Lynchburg-Clay (8-11) at 5. Portsmouth West (9-10), Friday, Feb. 21 at 7 p.m. at Portsmouth West HS.

Division VII

• 13. Trimble (3-16) at 4. Fairfield (13-6), Thursday, Feb. 20 at 7 p.m. at Fairfield HS.

• 9. Whiteoak (8-12) at 8. Ironton St. Joseph (9-8), Thursday, Feb. 20 at 7 p.m. at Ironton St. Joseph HS.
