McClain soccer teams fall at Unioto to start '25 season

The McClain Tigers and Lady Tigers soccer teams lost their 2025 season opening games on Friday night in non-conference action against the host Unioto Shermans in Chillicothe.

The Lady Tigers fell by a 3-1 score against the Lady Shermans, with McClain's goal being scored by Larah Henson.

In boys action, the Tigers lost by a 13-0 score against UHS.

Next for both McClain teams are away non-conference games on Monday, Aug. 18 as they'll both face the Logan Elm Braves. The girls will play at 5 p.m., followed by the boys game at 7 p.m.
