Lady Tigers golf wins home match

The McClain Lady Tigers golf team hosted a match with Washington, Greeneview and Madison-Plains Thursday, Aug. 8 at Buckeye Hills.
McClain won the team event, and Faith Wynne of Washington was the match medalist with a score of 44.
Final scores saw MHS win with a 218 score, while Washington carded a 236. Greeneview and Madison-Plains didn’t have a team score.
Final individual scores were as follows:
McClain (218) — Kaylin Sterling 47, Hailey Cornett 49, Avery Murphy 61, Sarah Kegley 61, Temperance Beavers 66 and Audrey Chamblin 69.
Washington (236) — Faith Wynne (44), Arabella Cadena (62), Addison Yahn (62) and Addylyn Mason (68).
Greeneview — Gabbie Burkett (52), Maddie Owens (53) and Kylie Cavender (68).
Madison-Plains — Rayanna Beery (57), Morgan Cheves (63) and Brenn Wallner (67).
