Kerigan Pollard named first-team All-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference

On Thursday, Nov. 8, the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) announced the Women's Soccer Major and All-Conference award winners. The Mount St. Joseph women’s soccer team won eight awards consisting of six different MSJ athletes.
Junior co-captain and former McClain standout Kerigan Pollard was named to the first team.
Pollard, of Greenfield, started 17 of her 19 games played. She had seven goals and three assists throughout the season.
Pollard was also the player who drew the penalty kick in the box for the Lions in their semi-final HCAC Tournament game against Transylvania.
In terms of major award winners for the Women's Soccer All-Conference, junior Vivian Willis was named the HCAC Defensive Player of the Year alongside junior Mckenzie Schneeman who was named the HCAC Midfielder of the Year.
The Mount also landed three junior athletes on the HCAC All-Conference first team. These players consisted of co-captains Pollard and Vivian Willis, along with junior Mckenzie Schneeman.
Juniors Paige Adams and Molly Sheridan were named to the second All-HCAC team as well.
Mary Anhofer started her Mount career off well, landing on the Honorable Mention All-HCAC list as a freshman.
