The inaugural Mackenzie Corbin Memorial 5-K Run was held Saturday, March 29 at McClain High School.
The run to raise awareness about pulmonary embolisms (blood clots) was held in memory of Corbin, a McClain HS graduate and Wilmington College student who passed away unexpectedly Aug. 18 at the age of 19.
Almost 400 participants attended. All proceeds from the run will benefit the Mackenzie Corbin Memorial FFA Scholarship.
